Booking conditions

Please read these frequently asked questions before you book.

  1. What happens when I make a reservation? As soon as you complete the payment section, the details of your booking are emailed instantly to our resort representatives who will then book your taxi as per your request.
  2. What does the price include? A one-way price will include a single taxi journey, either from your arrival airport, to your accommodation or from your accommodation to your departure airport. A return taxi includes both the arrival and departure taxi transfer from airport to accommodation upon arrival and from accommodation to airport on departure. Unless stated otherwise, individual taxis will accommodate up to four adult passengers.
  3. How do I collect my taxi upon arrival? Details of how to collect your taxi upon arrival differ in each resort. Individual instructions will appear on your invoice, which is generated automatically and is emailed to you once you complete payment details. If for any reason you cannot find the taxi upon arrival, then call the number listed on your invoice, where our local representatives will be more than happy to assist you.
  4. And on Departure? The booking procedure will automatically calculate your collection time for your departure flight as the journey time plus 2 hours check in time. You have the option to override this and your return taxi will then collect you from your hotel/apartment at the time you have requested. We recommend that you arrive at the airport a minimum of 90 minutes before departure time. We accept no responsibility for missed flights due to clients not booking the taxi with enough time to spare. In the event of any flight changes, we insist that you reconfirm your return taxi with our local representative, at least 24 hours before departure. Individual resort contact details will be printed on your invoice.
  5. Transfer times? The times quoted are the standard taxi journey times on a normal day. These times may alter slightly in high season when there is more traffic or road works affect the direct route of the journey. You will be notified if there is any anticipated delay to your journey.
  6. What happens if my outbound flight is delayed? Your taxi driver will be informed and collect you at the new time.
  7. Can I take the kitchen sink? Most taxis are able to accommodate a suitcase and piece of hand luggage per person. (Up to 4 passengers per taxi, children and babies count - except Lisbon, Portugal where the maximum passengers in any one taxi is 3). Any more than this and you will be responsible for any extra charges incurred.
  8. Do I need to tip the driver? The price you have paid does not include a tip. As is standard practice across the globe these days, if you feel the driver has been courteous and friendly, then a small tip is the norm.
  9. What happens if my tour operator changes my holiday details? If you have booked your flight and accommodation through a tour operator, then the chances are that this will happen in certain cases. Simply call 0871 6661 767 or email us at the following changes (at) skytransfers.com and we will amend the details accordingly. You will be responsible for any increase in the taxi price if the new resort/hotel is further away from the airport.
  10. What happens if I cancel my transfer? If for some unexpected reason you need to cancel your transfer, please inform us as soon as possible. Refunds will not be given for any cancellations inside of 7 days from the departure date. If you cancel your transfer outside of 7 days of the departure date, then we will charge an administration fee of 25.00 or 7%, whichever is greater.
  11. Insurance? Our taxis hold full public liability insurance. We do however recommend that you hold a valid insurance policy for the duration of your trip.
  12. Our Representatives? Our representatives are on hand in each resort we feature. Individual contact details pertaining to the resort you have booked will be printed on your invoice.
  13. Last minute bookings? In order ensure that your taxi is there to meet you, bookings inside of 72 hours of arrival time will not be accepted.
