The World Wind Surfing Championships are held at Jandia every year; representing the ultimate for surfers it brings competitors from all over the world. There are several places to hire equipment and get expert tuition, so what ever your skill level why not give it a try. For diving Fuerteventura has become a Mecca the seas are teaming with all kinds of marine life not found any where else, Lobos Island just off the coast has been declared a Marine National Park accessible from Corralejo and an absolute must for diving and snorkelling. Other sports and past times are well represented such as fishing, tennis and golf, in the Canary Islands golf is a popular sport offering everything for a fantastic golfing holiday.
